Don't Stand Behind Their Service
I went in for a mani/pedi prior to a vacation to the Caribbean and was advised to go with Shellac for my mani as it would last longer than regular mani. On average, Shellac should last 2 weeks (as their website boasts) without chipping or regular wear. I paid the extra $10 for the service. I left the country 2 days later. My first nail colour "peeled off" after just one day and subsequently lost a few more during the course of the week in the same manner. Peeled right off the nail without any residue! I visited the hotel's beauty salon to have the rest removed, but they were not equipped to remove this type of polish so I stayed the rest of the week with half my nails natural and the other half a dark bordeaux... Upon my return into the city, I visited this salon and was faced with nothing but blame. Apparently according to the manager it was my fault that I went into the salt water, or into the chlorinated pool. It was even my fault that I could not return to the salon after 2 days of having received the service as is their policy for unsatisfied customers. She did not even offer to remove the remaining colour! I gave her opportunity after opportunity to make it right for customer satisfaction and she basically chased me out of the salon. I asked the manager point blank if she realized she was losing a client to which she replied "Yes, goodbye!" as she held the door open for me so other customers would not hear. I was dumbfounded! I followed up my visit with an email to the salon, and never received a response. I consulted with a reputable salon immediately after leaving this place and they were shocked at the service of Nails Forever calling them "amateurs" for the quality of service. Of their Client Care they asked "they didn't even offer you a discount on future service at the very least???!!!". Do not trust this salon with your nail care....whatever happens they WILL NOT stand behind their service!!
