Venez savourer un excellent repas chez Maximilian Dining Lounge. Ce lieu apprécié est ouvert tard du lundi au samedi et en journée pendant les fins de semaine. Vous pouvez vous y rendre aisément par voiture et venez courir cet endroit convivial.
I recently retired from the GTA and moved to Lanark Highlands. We decided to try your restaurant last weekend. My girlfriend had the goulash and I had the schnitzel which was the second best I've ever had. The best was my late mother's. But you did come a very close second. The prices I found were reasonable and not overpriced as some patrons would lead you to believe. And if you complain about the wait, remember you're not eating at McDonalds. I guarantee you will not leave hungry.
Excellent schnitzel. Best that I ever had in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region. Will be going back for sure! Service was fantastic and the staff friendly.
When first introduced to Maximillian's in the 80's, yes the 1980, it was a good experience. We did not order the Schnitzel and a good meal would have been even better. Here we are in 2011 and we still place it at the top of our favourite list!!!! We visit 4-6 times a year, whether alone as a couple or with friends. We always order the Schnitzel with Dumplings and get a side order of potatoes. This way there is always some leftovers for the next day. The decor is fresh and the place is clean. The linen is a nice touch as are the fresh flowers on each table.
We travel to many different wordly destinations and still rank this as a reasonable priced, tasty & fulfilling *5 star eatery.
To Sidewinder. you really need to learn some manners. I do not expect management to interfer with my meal, and if I am not satisfied with an order, simply speak to the waitress..ranting & raving afterwards is a self pity project. No mention was made of the food.
The only fault these days...more salt required on the potatoes!

We lived in the area at one time and last year we traveled from Kitchener, stayed over night in Perth, just to eat at Maximlian Dining Lounge and will do it again this summer with any luck
Comfortable dining room , attentive service, the Luncheon special was excellent, wienersnitzel , great creamed potatoes and carrots,
Highly recommend the authentic European cuisine
