We LOVE ConfiDance
Our family has been a part of this studio for 9 years. Initially we chose it due to location, being close to home and stuck with it because it has become a part of our lives and our family... teachers and students etc. My children have many "dance moms" we trust and that they can go to, or drive with if we as parents aren't available. This includes the owner, teachers and other parents! Its very family friendly - with 2.5 weeks off at christmas, all holidays and Halloween off and 1 week off for March break. The season runs the beginning of September to the beginning of June. The past 2 years we have all Sundays off as a weekly family day. ConfiDance also offers regular programming and camps in the summer to keep students in shape and allows friends to stay in touch. My daughter loves this place, My son, whom is an avid hockey player, joined last year (at an older age) and is dancing everything he can this year as he's become passionate about it as well. As a parent I currently take 2 of the 3 offered Adult evening classes as well. My husband also dances in May and at their year end shows. The teachers are great overall and the students can talk with them and feel they can be understood. The kids have fun with dance. They enjoy their competitive season with most events being within 30 mins - 1.5 hrs away max (usually). The competitive group is a perfect size - last year being about 50 youth and the rec group huge. There is no pressure to join competitive. As a family you can be as involved or uninvolved as you choose. WE LOVE ConfiDance it has provided my children with opportunities they would otherwise not be able to get.
