I purchased a 5 lb bag of number 1 potatoes at local supermarket. One had a shovel or tool slice in it , another had a large slice on it and grey scum on it. Potatoes inconsistent in size and shape. Disappointed with the purchase. I expected better quality control

I bought a bag of Scholing’s red potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner. I was very disappointed in the size of potatoes. Most were no bigger than walnuts and by the time they were peeled and the eyes dug out, a 10lb bag barely fed 15 people. I would be embarrassed to give away potatoes like these, let alone sell them.

Best yellow potatoes that I have ever tasted. Better yet they dont fall apart when boiled.
